The drama unfolded between 6:30pm and 9pm on The Twitten when a man drove up to three others and suddenly wheeled out a hammer. In a flash, the trio turned on him, assaulting the man before making a quick getaway.
Arrest Made but Questions Remain
A 23-year-old man from Lancing was arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon in public. He has since been released on bail as police dig deeper into the case.
