Woman Assaulted in Crawley Evening Attack
Crawley Police have launched a probe after a woman was assaulted near Hudson Road or Hawth Avenue around 9.15pm on Friday, 24 February. The victim suffered a head injury in the shocking attack.
Police Hunt CCTV and Witnesses
Officers are desperate for anyone who saw the incident or has CCTV, doorbell, or dash cam footage to come forward. They want to piece together what happened that night.
Suspect Known to Victim
“The victim was known to the suspect at the time,” said PC Gemma Sutton from the Crawley Safeguarding Investigation Unit. She added the assault appears unrelated to any other crimes.
Man Arrested on Assault Charges
A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. The investigation is ongoing, and police urge anyone with information to get in touch immediately.
