Teen Murdered in Huddersfield: Police Seek Witnesses to Polish Boy’s Death
The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team urgently want to hear from anyone who knew 15-year-old Sebastian Kalinowski. The Polish teen, who had recently moved to Huddersfield, was found dead on Friday, August 13.
Couple Charged Over Tragic Killing
Agnieszka Kalinowska, 34, and Andrezej Latoszewski, 37, both from Leeds Road, appeared before Leeds Magistrates on Monday, August 16. They face murder charges after Sebastian was discovered unconscious and badly injured at a Leeds Road address.
Despite medical treatment, Sebastian sadly died. Police investigations revealed multiple physical injuries, leading to the swift arrests of the two suspects in the early hours.
Calls For Information About Sebastian’s Life
Detective Chief Inspector Tony Nicholson said: “This is very much a murder investigation. With the suspects charged, we’re limited in what we can disclose, but we want to know more about Sebastian—his movements, lifestyle, and who he mixed with.”
“Sebastian had only been in England a short time and spoke limited English. He was enrolled at North Huddersfield Trust School in Fartown. We’re asking anyone who knew him at school or elsewhere to come forward.”
