Officers understand a man forced his way into a property on Leopold Road, Coventry at 11.15pm.
He allegedly threatened residents with a gun, while we believe he was looking for someone.
He smashed a window of the property as he left.
CCTV shows the man stop and talk to a group of young men on Nicholls Street, and we believe they could be key witnesses in our investigation and we are urging them to contact us.
A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with this robbery and has been remanded by the courts to appear at a later date.
