Violent attack in busy pub

Just after midnight on 5 November, chaos erupted at the Prince of Peckham pub when a worker was viciously stabbed. The victim suffered a brutal injury, losing sight in one eye.

Woman charged following dramatic arrest

A 31-year-old woman was arrested the very next day, suspected of grievous bodily harm with intent and carrying a knife in public. She has now been officially charged.

Police plead for witnesses to come forward

DC Ashleigh Mullins of the Met’s South Central BCU said: “Although a person has been charged and several witnesses spoken to, I believe other witnesses are yet to come forward. The pub and surrounding area were very busy at the time.

“This was a vicious crime that caused serious injury to a man working at the pub. It is vital that anyone who saw the incident or what happened afterwards contacts us.”
