Youths Attack Car and Home with Axe in Shocking Rampage

Police were called after two youths smashed an axe into a car roof before breaking a living room window in a terrifying attack.

The suspects arrived in a white Transit van on Smithhurst Street, Newthorpe, before causing chaos on Robina Drive, Giltbrook.

Suspects Spotted in Distinctive Clothing

  • One wore a light-coloured tracksuit
  • The other was dressed in a dark hoody

The incident happened just after 6pm on Wednesday, 25 January.

Police Plea for Public Help

PC Bailey Stackhouse investigating the case said: “This was a horrifying ordeal for the couple living at the address. Thankfully no one was injured, but they were left very shaken.

“Two unknown suspects targeted their home and car for no clear reason. It’s vital we find those responsible.”

Officers are urging anyone with information, CCTV, or dashcam footage from around that time to come forward.
