Early Morning Assault Sparks Police Action
At 4:38am on Friday, December 22, police rushed to a St Leonards home after reports of a violent assault. A 27-year-old woman was found with a stabbing injury and rushed to hospital. Thankfully, she has since been discharged but remains under police support.
Suspect in Custody Faces Serious Charges
37-year-old Kerri Fordham, currently homeless, was arrested following a swift police investigation. Fordham is charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, criminal damage, and breaching a non-molestation order.
Next Stop: Brighton Magistrates’ Court
Fordham has been remanded in custody ahead of a court appearance at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, December 26.
