Man Arrested for Flasher Spree in Croydon
Police have swooped on a man suspected of indecently exposing himself multiple times in Croydon. The Metropolitan Police launched an investigation after reports of a flasher hitting Shirley Oaks Road four times between January and February 2020.
30-Year-Old Nabbed and Bailed
On February 5, cops arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of indecent exposure. He was taken to a South London station before being released on bail, with a court date set for later that month.
Police Share Suspect Details
The flasher is described as a white male, around 5ft 10in, medium build, with short, receding dark brown hair. Witnesses say he wore a black leather biker jacket over a grey top, black trousers, and dark shoes during the incidents.
Detectives Urge Victims to Speak Out
“Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who believes they may have been a victim of indecent exposure in the Shirley area,” said a Met spokesperson. “We encourage victims to come forward, at the very least, to ensure they receive support.”
