Detectives probing a vicious stabbing in Somers Road have bailed a third woman arrested in connection with the attack. The 35-year-old, with no fixed address, was held on suspicion of helping an offender and involvement in class A drug supply. She has been released on bail until April 28.
Earlier, two other women – one 35 from portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth, the other 26 from Southsea – were also arrested. They face suspicion of assisting an offender and Section 18 GBH with intent. Both have been bailed until April 26.
Life-Threatening Stab Attack Shocks Somers Road
The brutal assault left a 50-year-old man with life-threatening wounds, while a 31-year-old suffered serious injuries. Police are hunting two men spotted near Somers Road at the time of the stabbing.
Suspects Described as Mixed Race Men in Tracksuits
The two men are described as mixed race or Black, in their twenties, wearing tracksuits. Officers urge anyone with information to call 101 quoting the case reference.
