The boys, who cannot be identified due to their ages, are 15-year-old and two 16-year-olds. They were arrested on Tuesday night at a hotel in Rhyl, North Wales, and will appear before Wolverhampton magistrates tomorrow (4 Feb).
Bailey was assaulted in the early hours of Saturday on the High Street near Asda. He was taken to the hospital but died as a result of his injuries. A post-mortem examination revealed that the 20-year-old from Bloxwich died from multiple stab wounds.
Our investigation has been fast-paced but has not stopped with these arrests,” said Detective Inspector Jim Mahon of our homicide unit. We know there were other people involved in the tragic events of Saturday night, and we are determined to find everyone involved so that Bailey’s family can receive justice.
Meanwhile, a Section 60 dispersal order is in effect in St Matthews, Bloxwich West and East, Blakenall, Birchills, and Leamore until tomorrow morning.
The Order empowers us to stop and search people we suspect of being involved in violence without the need for reasonable grounds.
We use them when we believe there is a threat of violence, and they assist us in keeping people safe.
