Two teens arrested after young man stabbed in Swindon square

17-year-olds picked up over Cavendish Square stabbing

Police have arrested two 17-year-old boys early this morning in connection with a stabbing incident on Thursday, 30 March, in Cavendish Square, Swindon. The victim, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries and had to be rushed to hospital.

Suspects held for grievous bodily harm

The pair were detained at separate addresses and are currently in police custody, suspected of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Earlier arrest and public appeal

A 19-year-old man was previously arrested but has now been released on conditional bail as the investigation continues.

Officers want anyone near Cavendish Square around 11:30pm on Thursday who witnessed the stabbing to come forward.
