Police swooped on Radford after a break-in saw car keys stolen early on Saturday morning.

Break-In on Churchfield Lane

Officers were called to Churchfield Lane at around 4.30am on April 8 following reports of a burglary. The thief made off with car keys during the raid.

Quick Arrest and Recovery

The stolen vehicle was swiftly seized. The suspect, Skretowski from Commercial Road, Lincolnshire, was hit with multiple charges including driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, and possession of Class B drugs.

Suspect in Custody

Skretowski remains in police custody and is set to appear before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 10.

“This was an excellent bit of police work, involving several departments, which resulted in the recovery of the stolen car and a swift arrest,” said Detective Constable Demi Robertson of Nottinghamshire Police.

“We take all burglaries seriously and understand how distressing these crimes are for victims. We’re determined to catch offenders and bring them to justice quickly.”
