Police swooped on a suspect after a daring early morning burglary in Radford.
Car Stolen After Break-In at 4.30am
Officers were called to Churchfield Lane following reports of a house break-in around 4.30am on Saturday, April 8. Thieves made off with car keys during the raid and promptly stole the vehicle from the driveway.
Quick Police Response Nets Stolen Car
Within an hour, police tracked down and stopped the stolen car on the A610 Kimberley Bypass. The driver was arrested on the spot.
Suspect Held and Facing Court
The 23-year-old remains in custody and will appear before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 10.

Detective Constable Demi Robertson of Nottinghamshire Police said: “This was an excellent bit of police work, involving several departments, which resulted in the recovery of the stolen car and a suspect being arrested in quick time.”
