Horror Eye Attack in Worksop: Man Left Seriously Injured
In the early hours of 12 February, a brutal assault rocked Victoria Square, Worksop. At around 3.30am, a victim was viciously attacked, suffering severe and lasting damage to his eyes.
Passer-By Races Victim to Hospital
A passer-by sprang into action and rushed the injured man to hospital. Doctors treated him promptly, but the injuries sustained have left the victim facing a tough road ahead.
Police Hunt Suspect Craig Rose
Detectives are combing through CCTV footage, forensic clues, and eyewitness accounts in a bid to unravel the shocking attack. Their prime focus now is to trace 43-year-old Craig Rose, wanted in connection with the assault.
Authorities have issued a stark warning: do not approach Rose. He is also wanted for failing to appear in court over another offence.
“Officers have been working around the clock to investigate this extremely serious assault which has left the victim with potentially life-altering injuries,” said Detective Inspector Luke Todd of Nottinghamshire Police.
“I urge anyone who sees Craig Rose to call police immediately. We want to track him down quickly and need public help. Please do not approach him. Dial 999 if you spot him.”
