Finsbury Park Murder Victim Named: 20-Year-Old Kawsi Anim-Boadu

Detectives have identified the tragic victim of the Finsbury Park stabbing as 20-year-old Kawsi Anim-Boadu.

Night of Terror on Seven Sisters Road

Shortly after 3am on Saturday, 21 April, police were called following reports of a stabbing on Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park. London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance rushed to the scene.

Officers found a 21-year-old man injured by stab wounds nearby. A little further along Roth Walk, Kawsi was discovered with multiple stab injuries. Despite desperate attempts to save him, he was pronounced dead at 3:43am.

Suspects in Custody as Murder Probe Intensifies

  • A 21-year-old man was charged the next day with possession of an offensive weapon and appeared in court on 23 April.
  • A second suspect, aged 27, voluntarily attended a central London police station on 25 April and was arrested. He has since been bailed pending further inquiries.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command continues to investigate this shocking murder. Officers urge anyone with information to come forward immediately.
