Man Seriously Assaulted at Faversham Hop Festival
Kent Police are hunting for witnesses after a brutal assault at the Faversham Hop Festival on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Attack Near Standard Quay
The victim, a man in his 50s, was standing at the main bar near Standard Quay around 5:35pm when an unknown attacker approached. An altercation broke out, ending with the victim suffering a serious injury to his ear.
Suspect Description and Appeal for Information
The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years old, slim build, around 6ft tall, with slightly curly brown hair. He wore a white long-sleeved top during the assault. He was with two other white males—one similar age with dark hair and dark clothes, the other older with a large build.
Kent Police have been reviewing CCTV footage and are urging anyone who saw the incident or has video evidence to come forward. They especially want anyone who hasn’t spoken to officers yet to get in touch.
