Portsmouth Crack Dealer Steven Waters Locked Up for Two Years

Steven Michael Larry Waters, 24, has been jailed for two years at Portsmouth Crown Court. The no-fixed-abode dealer was caught red-handed with Class A drugs, including heroin and crack cocaine, with intent to supply.

Caught in the Act on Church Road

Waters was arrested on June 25 by the Fortress Drugs-Related Harm team after being spotted dealing crack to local users in Church Road. Officers swooped in to stop the illegal trade in its tracks.

Strong Message to Drug Dealers

Chief Inspector Jim Pegler said: “Our Fortress Drugs-Related Harm team works hard to target those people who choose to deal drugs.”

“This sentence sends a clear message to dealers that we will not tolerate drug dealing and related crimes in Portsmouth. We want the community to know we are committed to cracking down on these offenders.”
