Man Charged Over Tragic Essex Lorry Deaths

The Crown Prosecution Service has given the green light for Essex Police to charge a man in connection with the horror discovery of 39 bodies in Grays.

Mo Robinson, from Northern Ireland, was arrested shortly after the grim find at Waterglade Retail Park.

Serious Charges Laid

Robinson is set to appear at chelmsford/" title="Chelmsford" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Monday 28 October. He faces 39 counts of manslaughter, plus charges of conspiracy to traffic people, conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration, and money laundering.

Three Others Held

  • A 38-year-old man and 38-year-old woman from Warrington,
  • A 48-year-old man from Northern Ireland

All were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to traffic people and manslaughter. They remain in custody as the investigation continues.
