Second Man Arrested in Portsmouth Stabbing Investigation
Police probing a serious assault in Portsmouth have hauled in a second man over the violent incident.
19-Year-Old Held on Attempted Murder Charges
The latest suspect, a 19-year-old local lad, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and carrying a bladed weapon. He is currently held in custody as the investigation intensifies.
The drama unfolded on Arundel Street just after 5.30pm on Friday, 30 April. A 19-year-old victim suffered a stab wound and was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, doctors say his injuries are not life-threatening.
First Suspect Charged and Remanded
Earlier this week, 18-year-old Fabian Silva from Sedgley Close, Portsmouth, was charged with grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article. He’s been remanded in custody and will face court on Monday, 7 June.
