Man Arrested After Late-Night Assaults at The Vineyard Bar
Police are hunting witnesses after a man was arrested following reports of inappropriate behaviour and assaults at a popular bar.
What Went Down at The Vineyard?
The incident took place just after 1am on Saturday, 23 August, at The Vineyard on West Street.

During the chaos, two members of staff were assaulted. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.
Arrest Made, Police Continue Investigation
Officers arrived at the scene and arrested a 28-year-old local man on suspicion of assault and sexual assault. He has been bailed while inquiries continue.
