Six More Men Arrested Over Amir Shaffique Murder in Aylesbury

Police have made six new arrests overnight in the murder investigation of Amir Shaffique in Aylesbury. All six men are now in custody and being questioned on suspicion of murder.

Fatal Fight on Lembrook Walk

The arrests relate to a violent clash on Lembrook Walk on October 28, where officers were called to reports of a large fight. Two men were rushed to hospital, but Amir Shaffique tragically died from his injuries.

So far, two men have been charged with murder and remanded in custody. Seven others remain on conditional police bail as inquiries continue.

“This continues to be a fast-moving and very complex investigation,” said Detective Chief Inspector Andy Shearwood of the Major Crime Unit. “We made further arrests overnight in connection with Mr Shaffique’s death.”
