Snodland Exhibitionist Caught and Jailed for Shocking Public Acts

A Snodland man has been locked up for two years after repeatedly exposing himself in public, including in a supermarket and while working as a delivery driver.

Delivery Driver’s Shocking Shame

Robert Jenner, 44, of Bingley Close, Snodland, was convicted of 10 counts of indecent exposure at Canterbury Crown Court. Between December 7 and 13, 2017, while working as a parcel delivery driver in Maidstone, he deliberately exposed himself to customers by wearing altered clothing.

Supermarket Streaks and Bold Moves

The following month, Jenner targeted a supermarket in Larkfield, entering twice sporting pants with the crotch cut out to ensure he was blatantly exposed. Staff refused service at one checkout, forcing Jenner to buy his goods from another employee before making a quick exit.

Indecency Runs Rampant Across West Kent

  • Visitors to Leybourne Lakes County Park spotted Jenner running around in see-through shorts near families.
  • On September 8, 2019, he entered two Maidstone shops wearing ‘see-through tights.’
  • Police found him attempting to flee the town centre car park in his van, still in the provocative clothing.

Jail Time and Sex Offender Register

Jenner was arrested, charged, and jailed after his trial. He was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment on March 14, 2019. He was also placed on the sex offenders’ register for 10 years and slapped with a seven-year criminal behaviour order.

PC Robert Fagg said, “Jenner claimed he was simply a naturist and argued there was nothing wrong with his behaviour. The reality is he manipulated and altered clothing to deliberately expose himself. He wanted to shock and provoke, targeting places where children were present.”

“His actions caused fear, distress and anxiety to many victims. Now he’s paying the price with a custodial sentence.”
