Four Stabbed in Shocking Croydon Attack
Emergency crews scrambled to Croydon this morning after four people were stabbed near Coomber Way and Beddington Lane, close to the Asda on Marlowe Way. The horror unfolded at a Kingfisher distribution centre that supplies big names Argos and Sainsbury’s.
Stabbing at Key Distribution Hub
The attack happened at around 10:15am on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Three victims suffered walking wounds, while the fourth remains in a serious condition. Paramedics are treating all four at the scene.
Emergency Response Underway
- London Ambulance Service and the Metropolitan Police were quick to respond.
- An official Rendezvous Point (RVP) has been set up nearby to coordinate emergency efforts.
Area Locked Down – Avoid Coomber Way, Beddington Lane & Marlowe Way
The scene remains cordoned off as police investigate. Local residents and commuters should steer clear as roads around the incident site face disruption.
Suspect in Custody
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson revealed:
“At 10:15hrs on Thursday, 23 January, officers responded to reports of a stabbing at an address on Marlowe Way, Beddington. Officers are on scene with the London Ambulance Service to treat four injured people. The suspect has been arrested.”
