Man Nabbed Over Online Sex Sting
Sabah Abdullah, 42, from Telephone Road, Southsea, faces serious sexual offence charges. The Iraqi national is accused of trying to communicate sexually with a child online and attempting to arrange or incite a child to commit a sexual act.
Police Act After Public Tip-Off
Police swooped after receiving a tip-off at 6.54pm on Thursday, 9 April. A member of the public reported that Abdullah was communicating online and arranging a meeting with someone he believed to be a child in Southsea.
Back in Court Soon
Abdullah has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 11 April.
