Suspicious Behaviour Sparks Arrest
Police Community Support Officers Jake Angell and Adam Herod were patrolling the High Street on Thursday 31 March 2022 when they spotted a woman acting strangely. Their instincts kicked in after hearing about a recent theft at a nearby business.
Thief Caught Red-Handed
The duo stopped the woman from leaving the scene. They held her until a town centre police officer arrived to make the arrest.
£300 Worth of Stolen Goods Recovered
Police recovered two bags stuffed with suspected stolen items estimated to be worth around £300. The 28-year-old woman from Margate was later released on bail while enquiries continue.
