Swindon Man Nabbed in Tonbridge with Bags of Suspected Cocaine and Cash

Police Spot Suspicious Vehicle, Make Major Find

Kent Police swooped on a suspicious car in Tonbridge on Monday evening, 3 February 2025. At 5:30 pm, officers on patrol spotted the vehicle on Barden Road and followed it until it naturally stopped on Old London Road.

A search of the car uncovered 19 packets of white powder, believed to be cocaine, along with a stash of cash. The driver was immediately arrested.

Driver Charged with Multiple Offences

The driver, 24-year-old Jurgen Topuzi from North Street, Swindon, faces serious charges. He has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, driving without a licence, and driving without insurance.

Topuzi appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 5 February, where he was remanded in custody awaiting trial.

Next Court Date and Police Appeal

Jurgen Topuzi is set to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 3 March 2025 for further proceedings.
