A Sussex-based county line drug dealer was busted after trying to gulp down his stash during arrest. The crook has now been locked up for nearly five years.
Police Crack Down on Crack and Heroin Supply

Their investigations zeroed in on Leesean Francis, the man handling the deals.
Swallowed Stash Foiled by Swift Police Action
On January 23, 2025, officers caught up with Francis at a St Leonards-on-Sea address. As they cuffed him, he tried to swallow crack and heroin hidden in his underwear. Quick-thinking cops stopped him and seized the drugs plus a mobile phone.
Long Sentence for Brixton Drug Dealer
Francis, 25, from Moorland Road, Brixton, London, faced maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to supplying crack cocaine and heroin and possessing heroin with intent to supply. On February 25, he was jailed for four years and ten months.
Detective Constable Hannah Hills said: “These dealers need to understand that as soon as they try to supply class A drugs in Kent, we will find out about their criminal enterprise and take steps to identify them. It is then only a matter of time before they get a visit from one of our enforcement teams and they are swiftly charged and brought to justice.”
Kent Police vow to keep up the pressure on county line operations. They urge the public to report any suspicious activity immediately.
