13-Year-Old Boy Stabbed and Robbed in Hastings – Police Launch Urgent Appeal
A shocking attack unfolded in Hastings when a 13-year-old boy was stabbed and robbed near Southdown Avenue and Malvern Way. The assault happened at around 3:30 pm on Saturday, 10 February, leaving the teenager injured and police hunting for answers.
Young Victim Hospitalised but Now Recovering
Emergency services rushed to the scene where the boy was found with stab wounds. He was quickly taken to hospital for treatment and has thankfully been discharged. He remains in recovery following the terrifying ordeal.
Investigation Underway as Police Seek Witnesses
Officers from the Hastings Neighbourhood Policing Team are probing the violent attack. A 13-year-old boy from St Leonards was arrested on suspicion of robbery but has since been released without further action. Inspector Richard Breeze said:
“This is a fast-moving investigation and we urge anyone with any information to report it to us. There continues to be an increased police presence in the area while we carry out enquiries.”
