Teen Dies in Deadly West Lane Crash, Baildon
Tragedy struck in Bradford when a grey Ford Fiesta careered into a garden on West Lane just before 1am on Saturday, 20 December. The 18-year-old driver died at the scene, while his 17-year-old female passenger was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Police Investigate Dangerous Driving, Second Car
The Major Collision and Enquiry Team (MCET) say the Fiesta may have been driving alongside a white Suzuki Swift SZ3 just before the smash. Three 18-year-old men are arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving. A 40-year-old man faces charges of dangerous driving and helping an offender. All four remain in police custody as the probe continues.
Witnesses Urged to Come Forward with Footage
Police are desperate for anyone who saw the crash or the two cars before the collision to get in touch. Officers especially want dashcam or mobile footage that could crack the case.
