Teen Faces Court Over Brutal Potters Bar Station Attack

A 13-year-old boy is due in court today (14 December) charged with a serious assault at Potters Bar station on Monday, 12 December.

He faces charges of grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon. The youngster has been remanded in custody ahead of his appearance at St Albans Magistrates’ Court.

Victim Hospitalised, Girl Bailed

A 15-year-old boy remains in hospital in a stable condition following the attack.

A 14-year-old girl was also arrested but has since been bailed, pending further investigations.

Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward. Witnesses can contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 265 of 12/12/22.
