Teen Held Over Lorna Woodnutt Murder Extended in Custody
A teenager accused of killing Lorna Woodnutt has had their custody extended by 14 days after a brief hearing at Tullamore District Court.

Judge Andrew Cody confirmed the hearing was just a formality to keep the suspect in custody. Despite technical glitches forcing the court to switch to audio-only, the teenager offered no questions, simply replying “no.”
The accused was first charged with murder last Saturday night and is currently held at Oberstown Child Detention Campus.
Next Court Date Set
The teenager will return to Tullamore District Court on October 18 at 10:15am.
