18-Year-Old Found with Gunshot Wounds in Brixton
A shocking daylight shooting has left an 18-year-old boy fighting for his life in hospital. The teenager was found with gunshot injuries in Tilson Gardens, Brixton, by a stunned local resident.
London Air Ambulance Rushed to Scene
Armed police and London ambulance services arrived shortly after 6:30pm on Monday. The London Air Ambulance was also called in to provide urgent medical treatment. The teenager’s current condition remains unknown.
Police Investigation Underway
Police have taped off the scene, with cordons still in place. A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Officers were called at 6:38pm to a man with a gunshot injury in Tilson Gardens, SW2. The man, believed to be 18-years-old, is now in hospital.”
Officers believe the injury was sustained at a different location. Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 quoting CAD6444/3AUG.
