Madeleine vanished in 2007 while on holiday with her family in Praia da Luz, Algarve. Investigators believe the 45-year-old convicted sex offender kidnapped and murdered her.
Suspect Denies Involvement but Remains in Prison
Christian B has denied any connection to Madeleine’s disappearance. In June 2020, Portuguese authorities named him a suspect in the case. He is currently jailed for raping a woman in the same Algarve region where Madeleine went missing.
