Three Arrested Over Battersea Killing

Three Swedish men have been arrested in connection with the Christmas Eve 2019 murder of Flamur Beqiri in Battersea.

The suspects, aged 33, 31, and 22, were detained on October 8 at their homes in Stockholm and Vaxjo. Authorities acted on a UK European Arrest Warrant (EAW).

Extradition Battle Looms

All three men now face extradition through the Swedish courts as the UK pushes to bring them to justice.

Flamur, 36, was gunned down on Christmas Eve evening along Battersea Church Road, sparking a high-profile investigation.

One Charged, Awaiting Trial

Earlier this year, Anis Fouad Hemissi, 23, also a Swedish national, was charged with Flamur’s murder. He was extradited from Denmark in June and is set to appear at the Old Bailey on December 1.
