A daring thief swiped a wallet from a staff area at Gatwick Airport – then went on a spending spree at a nearby shop. Lloyd Edwards, 37, formerly from Haywood Street, was caught and jailed for his audacious crime.
Jail time handed down at Lewes Crown Court
Edwards appeared before Lewes Crown Court on January 19 and pleaded guilty to burglary of a commercial premises. He was slammed with an eight-month prison sentence for the offence.
