Three Men Charged with Attempted Murder in Tower Hamlets Attack

Detectives have charged three men following a savage assault in Tower Hamlets that left a man fighting for his life in hospital.

Mohammed Ifzal Hussain, 25, Mohammed Mokbul Alam, 25, both from Woodall Close, E14, and Mohammed Sanwar Hossain, 19, from Daling Way, E3, face attempted murder and wounding with intent (s.18 GBH) charges over the brutal attack.

Victim in Critical Condition

The victim remains in a life-threatening condition after the assault on Globe Road, E2, at around 5pm on Monday 27 May. The three accused have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 25 June 2019.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Enquiries into the shocking incident are ongoing. Police urge anyone with information to contact the Central East Command Unit on 101 or tweet @MetCC, quoting CAD 5195/27May.
