Detective’s Warning After Fatal Stabbing
“Somercotes is a quiet village within our county but in the early hours of 25 November 2021 disorder broke out between two groups,” said Detective Inspector Steve Shaw. “The result was Peeshang Sleman was fatally stabbed and another male seriously injured.” “Whilst the conviction shows Zandi may not have intended to kill, it highlights the deadly risk of carrying a knife. Anyone going out in public armed can cause death or serious injury, no matter the initial intent.”
