Three Jailed Over Crack and Heroin Supply in Banbury
Three drug dealers have been nailed in Banbury for pushing class A substances. Dominic Daly-Vint, 30, Lewis Ayre, 23, and Samantha Halliday, 30, all admitted guilt to two counts of supplying crack cocaine and heroin.
Harsh Sentences Handed at Oxford Crown Court
Last Friday (17/6), Oxford Crown Court dished out tough sentences. Daly-Vint from Birmingham got four-and-a-half years behind bars. Ayre, currently in HMP Channings Wood, copped five years and three months. Halliday of Banbury was spared jail but landed a two-year suspended sentence plus 240 hours of unpaid work.
Drugs Seized and Arrests Made After Key Discovery
- On 30 March last year, Daly-Vint and Ayre were searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act, with drugs recovered.
- Daly-Vint held a key to a Hornton Drive property, where officers found a large stash of class A drugs.
- Halliday arrived at the scene during the search and was promptly arrested.
- All three were charged on 13 December 2021.
Police Urge Public to Keep Snitching on Dealers
“I am very pleased this investigation has resulted in these convictions,” said PC Jordan McClay from Bicester police station.
“We take drug supply very seriously. Our Stronghold team targets offenders relentlessly.”
