Three Teens Held Over Shocking Cambridge Murder
Three teenagers have been arrested after a 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed near Logan’s Meadow in Cambridge yesterday afternoon.
Tragic Stabbing Near Logan’s Meadow
Police were alerted by paramedics at 2.52pm following reports of a stabbing. The victim was pronounced dead just four minutes later, at 2.56pm. Although a post-mortem has yet to confirm the details, officers believe the attack was targeted.
Dramatic Arrests Overnight
- A 14-year-old boy was arrested at his Cambridge home around 11.30pm.
- Two others — a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old from South Cambridgeshire — were arrested near midnight.
All three remain in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough, charged with suspicion of murder.
Police Plea for Witnesses
Detective Superintendent Carl Foster said: “We believe there were members of the public who spoke with paramedics at the scene but left before officers arrived. I’m directly appealing for these people to come forward.”
