Man Dies After Stabbing in Putney – Murder Probe Launched

A murder investigation is underway after a 42-year-old man died from stab wounds in Putney.

Stabbed in Huntingfield Road

Police were called to Huntingfield Road, SW15, at around 5.35pm on Wednesday, 15 April. Officers and paramedics found the injured man and rushed him to hospital. Despite treatment, Ralph Gibson, 42, from Putney, died on Friday, 24 April.

Suspects Arrested and Bailed

Three men aged 31, 24, and 20 were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). They have been released on bail pending further investigation.

Detectives Appeal for Witnesses

“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Huntingfield Road and Pleasance Road in Putney on the evening of 15 April to come forward and speak to officers if you saw or heard anything that could assist this investigation,” said Detective Chief Inspector Richard Vandenbergh from Specialist Crime.
