Three Charged Over West Kensington Murder of 21-Year-Old
Two men and a teenage boy have been charged with the murder of Janayo Lucima, 21, in West Kensington. Emergency services found Janayo badly injured on Comeragh Road at around 10:15 pm on April 1. He was pronounced dead at the scene just before 10:55 pm.
Suspects Named as Police Crack Down
Among those charged is 22-year-old Muktar Said from Franklin Square, West Kensington. Arrests were made on Wednesday, April 10, as the investigation by the Met’s Specialist Crime Command ramps up.
Police Appeal for Witnesses After Fatal Shooting
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie urged anyone with information to come forward. “We know there was a group of males, either on foot or bikes, in the area at the time of the shooting,” he said. “We need to trace these people.”
Officers are particularly interested in witnesses near Comeragh Road, Barton Road, and Palliser Road towards Barons Court Tube Station between 9:40 pm and 10:30 pm on April 1.
