Two charged over cash machine money thefts

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have charged two men following the theft of money from a cash machine in Ashford. Victor Coseru, 27, of Totesti, Romania, and Gica-fanica Radu, 30 of no fixed address, were charged on Saturday 9 February 2019 with burglary. They remain in custody and will appear at Canterbury Magistrates Court on Saturday 9 February. The charges follow the theft of money from a cash machine situated at the Co-op in Faversham Road, Kennington, during the early hours of Thursday 7 February 2019. During the incident, the cash machine was damaged. Four men who were arrested in Ashford on Thursday 7 February have been released pending further enquiries.
