Two Charged Over Ilford Stabbing, Third Man Held

Police have charged two men following a stabbing on Roden Street, Ilford, on Thursday, 21 May. A third man remains in custody.

Attempted Murder and Drug Charges

Lathujan Sivean, 18, of Windor Road, Ilford, and Abde Soliman, 18, with no fixed address, face multiple charges. They are accused of attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. Both were charged on Friday, 22 May.

The pair are set to appear via virtual court at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 23 May.

Third Suspect Held

A 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm remains in police custody.

Anyone who saw the incident or has information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 8094/21 May. Alternatively, witnesses can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
