Teen Stabbed in Shocking Attack at The Beacon

17-Year-Old Victim Seriously Injured

Police rushed to The Beacon, Terminus Road, just after 8.30pm on Saturday, April 10, after a 17-year-old boy was found with serious stab wounds to his stomach. The teen was taken to hospital and remains in stable condition.

Two Men Arrested and Charged

Inno Makolo, 20, unemployed from Chatsworth Road, Hackney, and Ashley Roberts-Araujo, 19, a scaffolder from Sutton Way, Kensington, were both arrested. They face charges of wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

The pair appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 16, and have been remanded in custody. They are set to appear again on May 14.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Officers thanked the members of the public who helped the victim at the scene and those supporting the investigation. They continue to appeal for any witnesses to contact them online or by calling 101, quoting Operation Parkham.
