Police Track Down Attackers and Accomplice

Officers caught up with the vehicle hours later in Derbyshire. Fearn was found in the passenger seat, driven by partner Juliette Ashton. All three were arrested following further inquiries that led to Thorn’s capture at another Derbyshire address.

Jail Time for Thugs and Accomplice

  • Fearn, 25, pled guilty to affray and possession of a bladed article and got 2 years 1 month in prison.
  • Thorn, 28, admitted affray and possession of an offensive weapon, receiving a 3-year jail term.
  • Ashton, 25, pleaded guilty to assisting an offender and was handed an 8-month prison sentence, suspended for 2 years, plus 10 rehab days.

All three were slapped with restraining orders. The sentencing took place at Nottingham Crown Court on 17 March.

“This was a terrifying experience for the victim,” said Detective Constable Lionel Thursby of Nottinghamshire Police. “Fearn and Thorn hoped to strike fear by wearing balaclavas and arming themselves. This violent aggression and carrying weapons is utterly unacceptable.”

“I’m glad they have faced justice, and Ashton too. Their sentences send a clear message: Nottinghamshire Police will not tolerate this behaviour.”
