Ilford Murderers Jailed for Life in Savage Stabbing

Emanuel Tamwesegire, 31, and Edmund Tucker, 32, have been handed life sentences with a minimum of 25 years at the Old Bailey for the brutal killing of Ricardo Fuller, 24. The savage attack rocked Ilford, Redbridge, and the sentencing came down on Thursday, 9 November.

Vicious Gang Attack Caught on CCTV

The pair were among a gang of five who hunted down Ricardo Fuller at Discoteca No Problem, 333 Ilford High Road, on 7 March 2020. The court heard there was a deep grudge against Mr Fuller from at least one gang member. Shocking CCTV footage revealed the gang chasing and stabbing Ricardo multiple times, fatally severing an artery in his neck.

Family’s Agony and Fight for Justice

Ricardo’s mother broke down describing him as a “kind warm-hearted soul.” She thanked the jury, legal teams, and police for securing justice for her son’s horrific murder.

Manhunt Continues for Two Fugitives

A third man, Jarmaine Ahenkorah, 30, was convicted of manslaughter and faces sentencing on 22 November. Meanwhile, Ahmed Sesay and Abubaker Tarawally have fled abroad and remain at large, wanted for their role in the killing.

International Hunt Underway

Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command revealed an ongoing global chase. Interpol and the National Crime Agency are on the case to track down the fugitives. The public is urged: “They can’t hide forever.”

Forensics and Witnesses Crack the Case

  • Key evidence included witness testimony, CCTV analysis, and forensic tests on vehicles.
  • Ricardo’s blood and Tarawally’s DNA were discovered inside one of the gang’s cars, sealing their fate.

Police Plea: Help Find Suspects

The authorities are calling on anyone with information about Sesay and Tarawally’s whereabouts to call the incident room on 020 8345 1570, quoting Operation Sandside. Anonymous tips can also be made via Crimestoppers.
