Two Arrested Over Swindon Shooting That Left Man Seriously Injured

Police have detained two suspects following a shocking shooting near Sackville Close, Swindon on Thursday night (23/03). A 45-year-old man was rushed to hospital with a serious gunshot wound.

Teen and Young Man in Custody

A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man are now held on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Both remain in police custody as investigations continue.

Third Suspect Released on Bail

Earlier, a 24-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He has since been released on conditional bail.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

The shooting occurred around 9.15pm near Sackville Close. Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward to crack the case.
