Stolen Van Recovered in Top Valley Within the Hour

Nottinghamshire Police acted fast after a white Mercedes-Benz Sprinter was reported stolen from Leeming Street, Mansfield, at 11.30am on Tuesday (29 November). Just 30 minutes later, officers found the van in Top Valley and swooped.

Two Arrested in Linked Van Theft Probe

A 28-year-old woman was spotted driving the vehicle and promptly arrested. Moments later, police nabbed a 33-year-old man on a bus heading from Mansfield to nottingham/" title="Nottingham" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Nottingham after tracking his movements.

Investigation Ongoing as Both Suspects Released on Bail

The pair remains on bail as detectives dig deeper. Detective Inspector Luke Todd praised the quick work:

“Officers did a great job in tracking down the van and detaining two suspects at separate locations within an hour of this report. A team of detectives are now working hard to fully understand the true nature of this case so that any criminality can be uncovered and appropriate action taken.”
