Stolen Car Sparks High-Speed Police Chase
The stolen vehicle was spotted less than an hour later in Margate. When officers tried to stop it, the driver sped off, triggering a tense police pursuit. The chase ended only after cops deployed a stinger to deflate the car’s tyres.
Two Londoners Caught and Charged
- Lennie Edge, 19, from Tottenham: Hit with charges including burglary, car theft, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, no insurance, and possession of Class B drugs.
- Huseyin Yesildal, 18, from Mitcham: Faces charges of burglary, vehicle theft, knife possession, and possession of Class B drugs.
Remanded in Custody Ahead of Court Hearing
Both men appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 13. They remain in custody and are due back at Canterbury Crown Court on Tuesday, April 11.
