Birmingham Stabbing: Two Held Over Nightclub Murder
Kami Carpenter, 21, and Remy Gordon, 22, both from Birmingham, have been remanded in custody. They are set to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on January 2nd over the stabbing death of 23-year-old Cody Fisher.
Deadly Blow at Digbeth Nightclub
Cody was stabbed just before 11.45 p.m. on December 26 at the Crane nightclub in Digbeth, where he worked. The venue has since had its licence revoked amid the investigation.
More Suspects Questioned, Others Released
- A 22-year-old man initially arrested on suspicion of Cody’s murder has been released on bail.
- Four others arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have also bailed.
Police Plea for Info Continues
West Midlands Police Detective Chief Inspector Ian Ingram said: “This is a significant development in our investigation as we work to bring Cody, his family, and friends justice. We’ve received tremendous public support which has greatly aided us. We are still eager to hear from anyone with information who has not already contacted us. Every piece of information contributes to our investigation.”
